Glass Bead

Abrasives are used to strip paint, smooth a weld, remove rust, abrade wood and can also polish/smooth away imperfections from most surfaces.

Basting with glass beads is a slower process than other abrasives at removing paint and rust, it is much gentler on the material.
Effectively strips it without causing damage to the material itself.
This leads to a fresh, shiny and more polished appearance.
Most commonly used in sandblasting cabinets.

Light deburring
Surface cleaning
Peening
Blending machine marking
Removal of welding discolour
Removes minimal material
Produces a bright matte finish, Pre Anodize finish.
Harder to warp steel due to heat.
